Job summary

Kidwell is seeking motivated individuals for a Mission Critical (Data Center) Low Voltage Installer role in Beaver Dam, WI. This position requires frequent travel to data center locations and includes a formal training path for entry level installers.

You will install and test Cat5/6/6a cabling and support structures, reporting to the Senior Cabling Technician and working with Telecommunications Technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electrical or similar program, or equivalent field experience.
• Current Nebraska Electrical License or ability to obtain one upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Senior Cabling Technician in installing and maintaining premise cabling per contract and customer needs.
• Install and test Cat5, Cat6, and Cat6a cables.
• Assist with installation of cable trays, racks and other support structures.
• May conduct terminations.
• Learn basic working knowledge of company sales products.
• Collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians on projects.
