Next Level Technician is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Chesterfield, VA. Salary ranges from $20 to $26 per hour with weekly pay and benefits. The role involves installing and maintaining structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and fiber optic systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in low voltage, knowledge of telecom networks, and a willingness to travel within Virginia. Training and certification opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred; BICSI, Lift and OSHA certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts.
• Install/support access control, CCTV, AV, and fiber optic systems.

Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling – Chesterfield, VA

Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Chesterfield, VA! Earn $20–$26/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Virginia as needed
