Job summary

Next Level Technician in Red Oak, TX is seeking an Access Control and CCTV Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and program security systems and blueprints for commercial sites.

The role involves hands-on work with door hardware, CCTV systems, and related low voltage equipment, with safety-first practices on ladders or lifts and willingness to travel within Texas as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial installation experience in access control or CCTV.
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV is a plus.
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.)
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV)
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
