Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Streaming Engineer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end FMV streaming pipelines using Wowza and AWS Elemental for the CBP client in Northern Virginia.

You will implement low-latency video transport (HLS, WebRTC, RTMP, RTP) and SRT, administer Wowza servers, configure AWS Elemental workflows, and collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Agile Leads to deliver production-ready streaming solutions.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass CBP background check.
• 7+ years in systems/software/network engineering with live enterprise video streaming.
• 3+ years hands-on experience engineering live enterprise video streaming systems.
• Bachelor-level degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Location: hybrid schedule with on-site Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and maintain enterprise video streaming architectures across cloud/on-prem environments.
• Administer and optimize Wowza Streaming Engine servers for high concurrency.
• Configure cloud media workflows using AWS Elemental Suite (MediaLive/MediaPackage/MediaStore) and CloudFront.
• Implement and tune streaming protocols (HLS, WebRTC, RTMP, RTP/UDP) with SRT emphasis.
• Optimize video codecs and ABR streaming for low latency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex streaming issues with diagnostics tools (Wireshark, FFmpeg).
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with Architects and Tech Leads to deliver production-ready configurations.
