Wolverine Trading is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to build high-speed, low-latency trading systems in Chicago, on-site. You will design hardware solutions in collaboration with traders and quantitative analysts.

Role focuses on pushing performance on FPGAs, solving real-time bottlenecks, and delivering robust hardware for trading applications. 4+ years in FPGA/ASIC required; SoC memory subsystems experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years FPGA/ASIC experience with high-speed timing closure.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog, FPGA design and verification.
• Experience with SoC architectures and memory subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency hardware-based trading solutions.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts and low-level software engineers.
• Push performance boundaries on FPGAs.
• Analyze and resolve real-time system bottlenecks to improve trading performance.
