Job summary

DRW in Chicago seeks an experienced FPGA Engineer to join a trading team. You will architect, implement and test low-latency FPGA applications, from ground up, with emphasis on hardware-software interaction and end-to-end lifecycle.

The role requires strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, FPGA design flow expertise, and the ability to drive projects to production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in the field.
• Solid FPGA hardware experience and RTL/Verilog proficiency required.
• Ability to lead FPGA-based projects from requirements to production.
• Experience with synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new FPGA applications from ground up.
• Research FPGA hardware and technologies and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with software and other design teams for integration.
• Lab debugging and characterization of new hardware.
