Job summary

ExxonMobil in Houston, TX, is seeking a seasoned Commercial Director within our Low Carbon Solutions team. You will design and execute full-cycle foundational analyses for transactions, including financial analyses and presentations, and manage negotiations with international and Fortune 500 partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or finance with 10+ years in energy finance or business development, plus deep knowledge of long-term upstream and midstream agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or financial discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial, commercial, and/or business development roles in Energy.
• Demonstrated ability to conclude definitive agreements at a Corporate level.
• Expert knowledge of long-term upstream, midstream, product and/or transportation agreements in oil & gas or related industry.
• Deep familiarity with project investment evaluation.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and marketing efforts with external customers.
• Develop commercial offers, including SPA, MOU, etc.
• Evaluate and scope opportunities.
• Prepare materials for negotiations with customers.
• Develop marketing strategies and pricing models.
• Maintain competitive insights for market strategies and supply analysis.
• Develop Gate 3 commercial and business development deliverables.
