Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a Lounge Supervisor to oversee our lounge operations on-site. This full-time position requires strong guest service, staff leadership, and the ability to manage shift coverage and service standards across restaurant and room service.

You will lead training, monitor safety and sanitation, and ensure guest satisfaction through efficient operations and proactive communication with kitchen and management. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising lounge or restaurant staff.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to open/close shifts and manage floor coverage.
• Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.

Responsibilities

• Carry out management requests within capability.
• Open and close shift per manager’s checklist.
• Train and enforce service standards using menus and reference materials.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work environment; report unsafe conditions.
• Ensure room service is staffed to handle volume; assist as needed.
• Be on the floor during meal periods; ensure coverage.
• Conduct taste panels and menu classes daily for restaurant and room service.
• Monitor hours and overtime related to sales and profits.
• Teach empowerment principles for guest satisfaction.
• Attend associate meetings and training seminars.
• Communicate bookings of restaurant parties and room service suites to managers.
• Gather tools for shifts (schedules, floor plan, reservations).
• Assist guests with service, seating, and kitchen communication; greet all guests.
• Ensure side work, station resets, and first-class SOP adherence.
• Manage repair and maintenance via work orders.
