Brightstar Lottery in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Lottery Field Services Technician to service Brightstar equipment at retailer locations. You will install, repair, and maintain devices and drive to customer sites within a defined zone.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years in customer service, hands-on repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to distinguish colors. You may occasionally drive a 20-foot box truck and reside near the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service-related position.
• Background of at least two years in technical repair or a related hands-on field.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Capacity to distinguish colors correctly while installing, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment.
• Willingness to drive a 20-foot box truck occasionally without a commercial driver's license.
• Residence within reasonable proximity to the assigned service area.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport, install, remove, and maintain Brightstar Lottery equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment by cleaning, adjusting, repairing, or replacing components to restore operation.
• Communicate service activities, arrival and departure times, equipment issues, and resolutions accurately to Dispatch.
• Deliver marketing materials and consumable supplies, including paper, ribbons, and bet slips, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Train new retailers and provide refresher guidance on equipment procedures, including changing paper and ribbon.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle and comply with driver training, vehicle use, and maintenance policies.
• Complete required forms documenting field activities, equipment problems, and recommendations for procedural improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
