Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a LOTO/Energy Coordinator to oversee electrical field crews and ensure safe lockout/tagout procedures across large-scale projects. You will lead energization and commissioning activities, train personnel, and coordinate on-site electrical coordination across multiple job sites.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, apprenticeship experience (8,000+ hours), and the ability to travel 60–75%.

Qualifications

• Must-have LOTO knowledge and extensive safety compliance experience.
• Experience supervising electrical field crews on complex projects.
• Ability to read electrical prints and identify system redundancies.
• Able to travel 60–75% to multiple job sites.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for electricians and trades.
• Commitment to safety and quality in energization/commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of electrical field crews.
• Ensure adherence to LOTO policies and procedures.
• Conduct LOTO audits and maintain compliance programs.
• Coordinate lockouts, lockout releases, energizations, and re-energizations.
• Manage project resources including labor, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Train and mentor employees and trade partners on LOTO procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and performance evaluations.
• Create daily and weekly work plans and deployment strategies.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for electrical coordination.
• Complete advanced documentation related to LOTO implementation and releases.
