Job summary

PRT Staffing is seeking a LOTO Coordinator in Atlanta, GA to coordinate lockout/tagout activities and manage energy isolation on active construction projects. The role requires interfacing with energy isolation teams, safety personnel, and subcontractors to ensure proper de-energization before work.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in electrical construction or energy isolation, strong knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E, and proven ability to maintain accurate LOTO documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction, commissioning, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and panel schedules.
• Experience with OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and electronic documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate lockout/tagout activities among contractors and stakeholders.
• Verify locks, tags, and isolation devices are applied/removed.
• Maintain LOTO logs, permit records, and tracking docs.
• Ensure work follows approved energy control procedures.
• Support energization planning and commissioning activities.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to locate isolation points.
• Promote OSHA/NFPA 70E safety compliance.
