Job summary

ADESA is seeking a Lot Operations Associate to support vehicle movements and inventory control at our Colorado location. Responsibilities include staging vehicles for sale, operating the lot tow truck, and maintaining inventory accuracy through electronic scans.

You will assist with vehicle readiness tasks, coordinate with multiple teams for smooth sale day operations, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating tow trucks, forklifts, or the service truck is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Support lot operations by preparing and staging vehicles for sale (stickering, marking, moving).
• Record vehicle movements using electronic devices to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with vehicle readiness tasks (jumping vehicles, adding fluids, tire inflation).
• Handle removal of personal property from vehicles.
• Coordinate with shop and operations teams to ensure inventory flow from check-in to sale line.
• Provide customer and administrative support for sale day activities.
• Verify vehicle mileage, make, year, and VIN for accurate records.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards to the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
