Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring for a Lot Operations Supervisor at Grove City, OH. You will oversee daily check-in and sale-lane workflows, supervise staff, and coordinate with reconditioning and fleet departments to ensure smooth vehicle processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' related experience, or a combination including a bachelor's degree and fewer years.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; ability to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lot operations daily to ensure efficient operations before and after sale.
• Supervise daily operation of the vehicle check-in area and coordinate activities of lot staff.
• Coordinate movement of vehicles from check-in to sale lanes and ensure proper stocking and parking.
• Provide quality service and interact with customers to resolve problems.
• Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment and ensure functionality.
• Monitor lot damage and review performance with Operations Manager.
• Coordinate with Reconditioning, Check-in, Factory and Fleet/Lease to schedule vehicles for sale.
• Lead and direct lot operations staff, set schedules, assign duties, and monitor accuracy.
• Support manager in counseling and evaluating employee performance and conduct performance appraisals.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and support safety initiatives.
