Job summary

Cox Automotive in Kent, WA is hiring a Lot Operations Specialist II to manage daily vehicle movements, coordinate shuttle transport for drivers, and ensure accurate log-keeping for lot operations. This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.

You will guide staff, enforce safety procedures, and work with management to optimize staffing and workflow during sale days, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years’ related experience, or alternative combination as listed.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 15 lbs and ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers on job duties.
• Coordinate vehicle movements and log stock numbers.
• Lead lane operations and communicate schedules to crew.
• Move vans and transport drivers to locations as assigned.
• Ensure timely pick-up/drop-off of employees and vehicles.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on vehicles and report issues.
