Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is hiring a Lot Attendant to join Howards Wrecker team in Mableton, GA. You will move trucks, organize the lot, and keep the display fresh with in-stock vehicles, while ensuring smooth traffic flow and customer convenience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a tidy lot, parking vehicles, managing inventory, updating the company software with vehicle data, and assisting with vehicle releases.

  • Attention to detail when documenting work, hours and information.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain a clean, debris-free lot.
  • Arrange and park vehicles in designated areas.
  • Oversee and maintain inventory.
  • Replace sold vehicles and update inventory display.
  • Ensure vehicle info is entered into the company software.
  • Oversee vehicle releases and payment forms.
  • Comply with company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Howards Wrecker, a division of Guardian Fleet Services


Hourly Rate is between $16.00/hr and $20.00/hr paid weekly


Guardian Fleet Services is looking for a new team member to join our growing family. Lot Attendant is in charge with moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility increase customer convenience and maintain an orderly service area.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensuring lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter and debris.

  • Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas.

  • Overseeing and maintaining inventory.

  • Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory and ensuring most marketable vehicles are put on display first.

  • Informing supervisor of issues as they arise.

  • Lot inventory and systems.

  • Make sure the all the vehicle information is in the company’s software.

  • Overseeing the release of all the vehicles.

  • Releasing – checking form of payment.

  • Needs to match the systems – form of payments.

  • Marking vehicles that are on the way out.

  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.

  • All other duties assigned by management.


Competencies and Abilities:



  • Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English

  • Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours and information


Physical Requirements:



  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

  • Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights.

  • Will be working with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.

  • Must have the ability to sit, stand, lay on ground, bend over, and move intermittently
