Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Loss Prevention Supervisor in California to improve profitability by executing external theft deterrence, internal investigations and shortage programs. You will train and lead teams, collaborate with store leaders, and engage with law enforcement to protect assets.

You will conduct audits, address shortage opportunities, and maintain a culture of honesty while ensuring customer service remains strong.

Responsibilities

• Identify external and internal theft trends within assigned location(s).
• Execute theft prevention strategies, including deterring theft and internal investigations to reduce exposure.
• Implement store awareness programs addressing theft, safety, inventory and shortage control.
• Communicate potential shortage opportunities to leadership.
• Conduct operational audits and security inspections to ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with store personnel to address opportunities for improvement.
• Support a culture of honesty and control in the store.
• Recruit and train Loss Prevention staff; supervise LP Officers and Specialists (where applicable).
• Maintain customer service awareness.
• Represent Kohl’s in legal proceedings as needed.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
