Job summary

ShopRite of Mullica Hill is seeking a Store Detective to protect assets and ensure a safe shopping environment in Browns NJ. You will monitor CCTV and perform proactive loss prevention to deter theft, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store operations.

The role emphasizes attention to safety, policy adherence, and teamwork, with duties including surveillance, incident reporting, and collaboration with management to safeguard assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak English.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust.
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations if needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with others and maintain punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Utilize loss prevention tools to identify and minimize potential loss.
• Detect and apprehend customers, associates, and vendors for theft.
• Represent the company in criminal actions as a result of apprehensions.
• Coordinate investigations and communicate findings to Store Management and LP Specialist.
• Maintain store security, cleanliness, and safety; observe shop policies.
