Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe store environment, deter theft, and support store leadership. You will greet customers, monitor entrances, and collaborate with the team to prevent shrink and ensure a secure shopping experience.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior security or loss prevention training is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and brand protection.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with Store team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Provide visible greeting and maintain command presence at store entrances/exits.
• Engage with customers and associates with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support Loss Prevention directives and minimize operational shortage.
• Participate in district meetings and training as required.
• Other duties as assigned to support Loss Prevention initiatives.
