DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect assets and support teammates while ensuring policies are followed to maintain a trusted shopping experience for athletes.

You will safeguard store operations, train team members, and deliver exceptional customer service on the floor. The role demands accountability, integrity, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and providing clear, accurate, and knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and athletes are engaged when, where, and how they want.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
• Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Creates a store environment where everyone, both teammates and athletes, are always welcome and treated with respect.
