Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Loss Prevention to protect assets and maintain a safe shopping environment in-store. You will support teammates, uphold policies, and ensure a secure, welcoming experience for athletes of all abilities.

In this role you will collaborate with store leadership, enforce loss prevention procedures, and participate in training to maintain high standards of integrity, safety, and teamwork on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience, preferably in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide clear, accurate information about products.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, serving as a go-to expert in designated process categories.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset and ensuring products are ready for purchase.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory
• Promotes customer participation in programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label financing.
• Creates an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed and treated with respect, adhering to safety and loss prevention policies.
