Motive Workforce is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist for a high-volume distribution center in Compton, CA. You will protect assets, monitor operations, conduct CCTV surveillance, and support investigations to reduce shrink.

The role emphasizes investigations, security operations, and maintaining a safe workplace. It is a temporary assignment with potential for full-time conversion, with an evening schedule and competitive hourly pay plus shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Protect company assets, including employees, inventory, equipment, property, and confidential information
• Monitor shipping and receiving operations, trailer yard activity, facility access points, parking lots, and other critical areas
• Observe and document vehicle and trailer movement entering and exiting the facility
• Monitor merchandise flow throughout the distribution center
• Conduct CCTV surveillance and investigate suspicious or potentially dishonest activity
• Assist with internal investigations and shortage analysis
• Support loss prevention initiatives designed to reduce operational shrink
• Ensure compliance with established safety, security, and fire prevention procedures
• Verify incoming and outgoing trailer activity and maintain accurate records
• Respond professionally and appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations
