Qualifications

• Must posses a valid Guard Card.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of CCTV and the 6-step process of loss prevention.
• Must have knowledge of theft prevention, conflict resolution, and de-escalation methods.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs.

Responsibilities

• Work as an undercover agent to prevent theft.
• Detect and observe potential shoplifters.
• Conduct apprehensions and recoveries as described in post orders.
• Document incidents, report emergencies and contact appropriate authorities.
• Utilize smartphone or tablet to maintain daily electronic reports.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and provide detailed statements on theft cases.
