Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Greet guests and provide warm, helpful interactions across moments of contact.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support total store sales, guest service and increase profitability by ensuring product is in stock and available.
• Prevent and resolve theft by using good judgement and following AP policies.
• Monitor safety and security using surveillance as needed and document incidents.
• Maintain positive work relationships with public safety officials and law enforcement as required.
• Participate in legal proceedings when required to represent Target’s interests.
