Job summary

Target Corp in Pittsburgh is seeking an Assets Protection Team Leader to lead security operations and protect store assets. The role focuses on crisis response, guest and team safety, and loss prevention leadership.

You will develop and coach the AP team, implement security plans, and partner with store leaders on shortage priorities while ensuring a guest-centric, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage your workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Leading a security culture, including crisis response, a strong safety environment and crowd management planning.
• Responding to external and internal theft incidents and preventing future theft.
• Educate store leadership on merchandise protection best practice and audit execution in partnership with key partners.
• Develop, coach and lead your team members to elevate their skills and expertise.
• Anticipate staffing needs and support your direct leader to effectively talent plan around a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
• Identify theft and shortage trends in your store.
