Job summary

ShopRite of Newton is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to protect store assets and provide a safe shopping environment. You will detect theft, monitor CCTV, and coordinate with Store Management on investigations.

Regular duties include using loss prevention software, reporting incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, speaking English.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Loss Prevention tools to identify and minimize loss.
• Participate in investigations when assigned.
• Report vulnerabilities to Store Management with recommendations.
• Maintain security standards and monitor customer/associate behavior.
• Keep store environment clean, neat, and safe.
