Job summary

House of Sport by DICK'S Sporting Goods in Columbus, OH is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead to deter theft, safeguard assets and ensure a safe shopping environment. You will model customer engagement, enforce policies, and coordinate with local authorities when needed.

Responsibilities include monitoring traffic, completing incident reports in LPMS, conducting MES sweeps, and training teammates on loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 1- 3 years of prior LP or educational experience in Loss Prevention preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor store traffic for potential theft activity and deter theft while following dress code and policies.
• Complete incident reports in LPMS for all recoveries, shoplifting events and grab & go activity; follow up with authorities as needed.
• Create an inclusive in-store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and safe.
• Must be able to walk the sales floor, stockrooms, and office areas during shift.
• Deescalate incidents involving confrontation by athletes exhibiting concerning behavior.
