Job summary

House of Sport by DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead to mitigate losses and deter theft while leading store-wide safety and compliance initiatives. The role involves executing MES, reporting incidents, and coordinating with authorities when necessary in a dynamic retail environment.

The LP Lead will model customer engagement, participate in Shrink Coach meetings, train teammates, and ensure adherence to safety policies and confidentiality of company information.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior LP or educational experience in Loss Prevention preferred

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and deter external theft and support key operational programs.
• Complete incident reports in LPMS for recoveries, shoplifting, and 'grab & go' activity.
• Coordinate with local authorities for after-the-fact case resolution and prosecution.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and safe.
• Walk the sales floor, stockrooms and offices during shifts as required.
• Deescalate incidents involving confrontations by athletes exhibiting concerning behavior.
