Job summary

Dick's Sporting Goods is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead at House of Sport to deter theft, ensure safety, and support loss-prevention programs. You will model customer service behaviors, manage incident reporting, and coordinate with local authorities when required.

The role requires the ability to walk the sales floor and back areas, engage with athletes respectfully, and uphold company policies on safety and MES standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior Loss Prevention (LP) or related education/experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Mitigate losses by deterring theft and executing key LP programs.
• Model customer engagement to detect and deter shoplifters and assist store staff.
• Assist in monitoring store safety, policies, MES execution, and compliance.
• Prepare accurate incident reports in LPMS for recoveries and thefts; coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Support Shrink Coach initiatives, trainings, and store-wide loss prevention efforts.
