Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in Prescott Valley is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer for the 1st shift. You will oversee entry/exit, perform safety and security audits, monitor hazards, and move damaged items to safe locations.

You will read SOPs, respond to alarms, operate CCTV, provide trainings, and keep work areas clean. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; 18+ years old; CCTV experience and security background are favored; CPR/First Aid training or readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or able to obtain.
• Experience in Security, Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering and exiting the building.
• Walks through and around the exterior of the entire facility conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits.
• Continually monitors the hazard materials storeroom and cleans up spills.
• Oversees and supervises the disposition of damaged items, loads items onto push carts, and moves to safe location.
• Walks throughout the facility and conducts general investigations, inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Use computers and office equipment.
• Must read Standard Operating Procedures, hear fire/security alarms and phones, and be able to monitor CCTV.
• Provides trainings to other employees.
• Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.
