Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will monitor entrances/exits, perform safety audits, and respond to incidents while supporting a culture of safety and integrity.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work non-traditional shifts, and familiarity with CCTV. Training and career development are provided as part of a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with CCTV preferred.
• Degree in Criminal Justice or 3–5 years in Security preferred.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, observes, and supervises employees entering/exiting the building.
• Conducts Safety/Hazard/Security audits around the facility exterior.
• Monitors hazard materials storeroom and cleans spills.
• Disposes damaged items and moves them to safe locations.
• Conducts investigations, inventory counts, and cycle counts.
• Uses computers and office equipment.
• Reads SOPs, responds to alarms, and monitors CCTV.
• Provides trainings to other employees.
• Performs housekeeping and keeps areas neat.
