Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Loss Prevention/Front-of-Store role in San Rafael, CA. You will act as a visual deterrent, wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers, and assist management to protect people and the brand.

With 0–2 years in retail or security, you will need strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to stand for long periods while keeping operations safe and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years retail or security experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers, demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance via store radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
