Job summary

TJ Maxx in Alameda, CA is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, assist customers, and support store leadership. You will wear a body worn camera, stand at the front of the store, and help maintain safety and brand integrity.

This role requires strong communication, initiative, and the ability to work independently; 0-2 years retail or security experience is acceptable. Starting pay ranges from $17.76 to $18.76 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide and wear the uniform with a body worn camera.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service when needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Document incidents in case management.
