Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate in Burien, WA to prevent and reduce loss from bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities, while protecting margins. You will model Customer 1st behavior, deter theft, and report incidents to the asset protection manager.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s in criminal justice, retail security or law enforcement background, ability to pass a drug test, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver excellent customer service.
• Detect and deter theft; report incidents to the asset protection manager.
• Reduce customer and associate dishonesty by initiating actions to prevent theft.
• Monitor large shrink areas in stores and escalate as needed.
• Provide training and support to staff and maintain positive relations with customers.
