Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Associate to prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities. The role emphasizes safety, integrity, and customer service while upholding corporate policies and state and federal laws.

The position requires knowledge of store policies, security experience and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must meet age and education requirements and be capable of handling sensitive information

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures and organizational structure.
• Retail security experience.
• Law enforcement experience.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes.
• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify areas of high theft.
• Verify compliance with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift, overtime and weekends
