Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to maintain a professional visual deterrence and ensure a safe, pleasant shopping experience for customers and associates. The role is full-time and requires nights and weekends on a regular basis.

You will deter theft, greet customers, report incidents, and participate in loss prevention programs while upholding company standards and dress code.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to maintain consistent standards, using judgement and discretion.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to schedule as provided by DLPM.
• Maintain highly visible position at store entrance.
• Greet and acknowledge customers and associates as they enter and exit the store.
• Observe and report theft incidents or suspected theft to manager on duty.
• Assist in store loss prevention and safety programs.
• Conduct store tours and audits as directed by DLPM.
• Ensure front entrance is clean and safe for shoppers.
• Conduct bag checks per company’s guidelines.
