Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to maintain a professional visual deterrence and ensure a safe shopping environment. This full-time role includes night and weekend shifts as part of regular duties.

You will greet customers, deter theft from a visible position at the store entrance, and report incidents to management while upholding company standards and safety procedures. Join a team dedicated to honesty and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to schedule as provided by DLPM.
• Wear company-issued LP vest/jacket during shift.
• Maintain highly visible position at store entrance.
• Greet and acknowledge customers and associates as they enter/exit.
• LP Associate cannot confront a suspected thief outside the store; act as a deterrent, observe and report thefts to management.
• Maintain open communication with store associates and team leaders.
• Support security and safety procedures across the store.
• Direct store on completing Store Theft Reports when required.
• Participate in loss prevention and safety programs and conduct store tours as directed.
• Complete audits as directed by DLPM.
• Ensure front entrance is clean and safe for all shoppers.
• Conduct bag checks as per guidelines.
