Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Loss Prevention Associate. The role focuses on maintaining a professional visual deterrence to prevent theft and ensure a safe, pleasant shopping environment for customers and associates. Night and weekend shifts are required on a regular basis.

Respondents will develop rapport with employees to foster a culture of honesty and integrity while upholding security standards and safety procedures throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to maintain a consistent set of standards, using judgment and discretion.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to schedule as provided by DLPM.
• Wear the company issued Loss Prevention vest or jacket during shift.
• Maintain a highly visible position at store entrance during shift.
• Greet and acknowledge customers and associates entering or exiting the store.
• Do not confront or follow suspects outside the store.
• Observe and report theft incidents to manager on duty, MOD and District LP Manager.
• Maintain open communication with store associates and team leaders.
• Support store in security and safety procedures.
