Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with energy, and report any theft or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to stand for long periods, and a commitment to safety. Part-time with benefits is available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet customers with a warm, confident, and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to management.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Collaborate with store leadership to maintain safety and security standards.
