Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in San Diego is seeking a Loss Mitigation Workout Closing Specialist to manage the closing process of loan workout packages, ensuring compliance with investor, insurer, state, federal, and CFPB guidelines.

You will coordinate with cashiering and loan accounting, oversee document quality control, and finalize workout terms in the I5 system, supporting timely processing of buyouts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years mortgage servicing or loss mitigation experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of borrower-executed documents and notarization.
• Reconcile modifications; ensure amortization and cure of delinquencies.
• Coordinate with cashiering, escrow and investor accounting teams.
• Submit workout settlements to FNMA/FHLMC and verify documents in I5.
• Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
