Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company seeks a seasoned Loss Mitigation Manager to oversee the LM SPOC team, ensuring compliance with laws and investor guidelines while driving productivity. Hybrid work from San Diego or Riverside County supports two office days weekly.

Responsibilities include policy development, licensing maintenance, handling escalations, and project leadership to improve processes and outcomes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with college or technical training; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years mortgage default or loss mitigation experience with 4+ years in supervision.
• Expert knowledge of mortgage loan documents, regulatory requirements, and FDCPA/CFPB.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reporting for accuracy and audit risk.
• Oversee LM SPOC team's performance against production and call quality.
• Develop and update servicing policies and procedures.
• Ensure licensing and CEU requirements are maintained.
• Respond to complaints, escalations, and audit findings.
• Lead department projects and implement process improvements.
• Manage hiring and provide performance feedback.
