Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Manager, Loss Mitigation in the San Diego area. The role oversees the LM SPOC team, ensures compliance with federal, state, and investor rules, and drives process improvements.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with office two days per week for candidates in San Diego or Riverside County. The role requires extensive mortgage default experience, supervisory background, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field preferred.
• Seven+ years in mortgage default or loss mitigation.
• At least four years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Review daily reporting for accuracy and timely turnaround.
• Monitor pipeline reports and oversee team performance.
• Develop and review servicing policies and procedures; update annually or as needed.
• Maintain licensing and CEU requirements for the team.
• Respond to complaints, appeals, escalations, and audit findings with remediation plans.
• Lead department projects and process improvements.
• Monitor call quality and ensure regulatory and investor guidelines.
