Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Homeowners Assistant Customer Care Specialist in Cincinnati, OH to support borrowers through Loss Mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related inquiries. You will coordinate with Loss Mitigation teams and internal departments to resolve questions and process documents, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely responses.

The role requires at least a High School diploma, 2+ years in collections/default servicing, strong communication skills, and knowledge

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years Collections or Default Servicing experience.
Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of FDCPA / Privacy Act, state laws and bank policies.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Analyze borrower situations and respond to inquiries.
Explain Loss Mitigation options and application process.
Maintain servicing system documentation on all borrower contact attempts.
Provide timely live telephonic responses to inquiries about Loss Mitigation or related issues.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather information for research.
