Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a SPOC Specialist to work with borrowers and internal departments on Loss Mitigation and Foreclosure processes. You will explain options, maintain records, and respond to inquiries to minimize customer frustration while upholding policy guidelines.

This role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and collaboration across Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure teams. Located in Cincinnati, OH. Experience in collections is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years Collections or Default Servicing experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Understand FDCPA / Privacy Act / state laws and bank policies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower situations and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Explain Loss Mitigation options and guide borrowers through the application process.
• Maintain servicing system documentation and update records.
• Provide timely live telephonic responses to inquiries about Loss Mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information for research.
