Job summary

National American Insurance Company (NAICO) is seeking a field-based professional to evaluate insureds’ policies and identify loss exposures. You will obtain loss runs, arrange travel for visitations, and generate actionable reports for underwriting. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience in insurance and safety is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The position offers flexible work location (remote or road-based) and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years related experience or equivalent.
• Insurance and safety experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insureds’ policies, procedures, and practices to identify loss exposures and recommend changes to eliminate exposures.
• Obtain, review, and analyze loss runs prior to on-site visitations to identify causes and conditions responsible for losses.
• Make reservations and arrange necessary travel for visitations.
• Formulate reports from visitations for underwriting to evaluate insured coverages.
• Review periodicals, trade journals, and other references to stay current on industry changes and developments.
• Compile information to assist in services or present to insureds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
