Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must have been previously qualified as a weaver.
• Must successfully complete requirements for an industrial truck license.
• Must have taken and scored at least in the 50th percentile on Bennett's Mechanical Comprehension Test.

Responsibilities

• Repairs looms as flagged by weaver or inspector.
• Patrols looms to detect problems.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs weaver job when required.
• Perform rapier head inspections
• Perform feathered edge checks
• Check and replace rapier cutters as needed
• Perform hot melt unit checks
• Enter repair and set-up data into LDMS system
• Responsible for general housekeeping in the assigned area
• Observe all plant and company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager, Supervisor or Process Engineer.
