Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 5+ years in weaving manufacturing; Dornier loom experience preferred.
• Experience using mechanical and electrical testing equipment.
• 8+ years in related job with strong performance references as alternative.
• Must certify as first aid/CPR and be ready to respond.
• Must have forklift and low-lift truck certification.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to work in tight spaces and on platforms.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety procedures and report hazards.
• Act as shift leader on the assigned shift.
• Train loom personnel and complete required documentation.
• Provide specialized maintenance to install, maintain and repair weaving equipment.
• Diagnose problems and return equipment to production promptly.
• Provide emergency repairs to keep production running.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Follow PM programs.
• Identify defective material and escalate as needed.
• Set up machinery according to specifications.
• Understand equipment capabilities and performance expectations.
