Job summary

BGF Industries, Inc. in Cheraw, SC is seeking a Loom Maintenance Mechanic to repair mechanical malfunctions on looms, start up new creels and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have been previously qualified as a weaver.
• Industrial truck license is required.
• Must have scored at least in the 50th percentile on Bennett's Mechanical Comprehension Test.

Responsibilities

• Repairs looms as flagged by weaver or inspector.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Performs weaver job when required.
• Enter repair and setup data into LDMS system.
• Observe all plant and company safety rules.
