Overview
Longo Toyota is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to manage our 50+ acre campus and ensure it remains the top automotive campus in the industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Facilities team to perform general and preventative maintenance, maintaining the campus in excellent condition at all times.
The Facilities Maintenance position offers a pay scale with a base hourly rate between $20.00 and $22.00, plus an evening shift differential.
This position is 100% on-site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure safety and compliance
- Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other structural elements
- Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing
- Perform minor landscaping around the facilities
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Inspect dealership areas and perform repairs and cleaning as needed
- Conduct heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand trucks
- Keep records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist with any other maintenance tasks around the dealership
- Maintain high ethical standards and professional appearance
- Be available to work nights and weekends
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or specialized training preferred
- Previous maintenance or related experience desired
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate hand and power tools, read safety and operation manuals, and interpret instructions in English
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Physical Demands:
- Constant standing and walking
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Climbing ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Use of equipment and tools requiring constant wrist and spine movement
- Reaching, turning, and performing detailed tasks
- Effective verbal communication skills
