Job Summary

The Long-Term Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment during the extended absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position requires planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, managing classroom behavior, collaborating with school staff, and communicating effectively with students and families. The long-term substitute is expected to perform many of the same duties as the regular classroom teacher while ensuring continuity of instruction and supporting student success.
