Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for all classroom instruction during the assigned period.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, state standards, and school expectations.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
• Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assignments, and student progress.
• Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive student behavior.
• Communicate regularly with administrators, instructional coaches, support staff, and parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, parent conferences, and other school activities as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive information in accordance with federal, state, and district regulations.
• Utilize instructional technology and district-approved digital learning platforms effectively.
• Supervise students during classroom instruction, transitions, lunch, recess, dismissal, or other assigned duties.
• Follow all district policies, school procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building administrator.
